Icon for food trucks (Chicago App)

Creating the food truck icon, the challenge was to represent all types of food you can buy in the streets from hot-dog and ice-cream to burritos, cupcakes and other stuff. My purpose was to go as far as possible from the academic view of a truck meanwhile to keep it simple and consistent with the app's icon set style.

Today's art: car racing splash screen

This art was designed for a splash screen though it suits more for a racing game.

I made a print screen of the San Francisco google map  as destination and applied filters. In order to go away a little from map flatness, I overlapped 2 layers on one of which I applied a motion blur and on the top one erased some street names randomly.

The finding I like the most, in order to stabilize somehow the silhouette of the car, I typed in random text applied same filters form the car and motion blurred it. In case it will work out, I might type in real street names. 

The design might never see production but its a cute experience.
